Project Description:
My work focuses on characterizing the LSD1 interactors LIN1 and LIN2, which both encode CBF-C/NF-Y-C subunits of CAAT-binding transcription factors and are the C-subunit orthologues of mammalian and yeast CAAT box binding TFs. I am currently using the oomycete pathogen Hyaloperonospora parasitica to investigate the role of these TFs in disease resistance.
