Course Description:Fundamentals of Human Anatomy and Physiology is a very demanding course that covers the usual 2-semester A&P course in only one semester. Lectures cover everything from anatomy, physiology, histology, and development. However, most focus on human physiology. Please see the above syllabi for a list of topics covered. The co-requisite laboratory meets once a week for 3 hours and involves two components. The first covers the anatomy of the skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and urogenital systems. The second component is experimental physiology, where students take measurements of their own body’s function and learn to apply the principles of physiology to their own dynamic system. |
