Syllabus for second half of Biology 205, Spring 2008 (MWF, 11:00-11:50)  (Revised March 26, 2008)

Jason Reed                   104 Coker Hall, jreed@email.unc.edu, 962-5699

Office hours: Tuesdays, 12:30-1:30 and Wednesdays, 1:00-2:00, or by appointment

Readings are from Essential Cell Biology, by Alberts et al. (second edition) and from Principles of Development by Wolpert et al. (third edition).  I encourage you to read the assigned pages before the corresponding lectures.  This will make it easier to follow the lectures and to learn while in the class (rather than just trying to keep up).  General course procedures will be similar to those for the first half of the course.  We will hand out practice questions, and you will be required to hand in answers to selected problems in the recitations.  Many of these practice questions will be similar in form and content to those you will see on exams.
